I Dated Someone Who Turned Out to Be Crazy

Multiple times during my young life, I have dated people who turned out to be crazy... And if they weren't crazy during the course of our relationship, they inevitably 'lose it' after we break up. It seems I have a type; and my type turns out to be rather screwy. Now, I don't scare easily, but I have dated a few guys crazy enough to frighten me... And one of them was named Nathan.
Nathan and I initially met at a coffee shop. He approached and propositioned me right then and there. .
I was stunned by his confidence, and agreed to go on a date with him. But that is when things started to get strange.
I was still a teenager, so I had to sneak out of the house in order to meet up with him. We were making out rather passionately when I noticed something hard by his crotch. Then he ripped it out - his gun. He showed 'her' to me and even let me hold 'her.' At first it was cool to me, but then it started getting creepy. He was obsessed over his gun. He spoke of it with such fervor, and wouldn't stop. He wouldn't put it down - he kept pointing it at me. It started scaring me.
So I made up an excuse to go home, and never contacted him again. It was my hope that he would take the hint and leave me alone. But my silence only aggravated him. Since he did not know my address, he harassed my friends instead. He found them in the mall, whipped out his gun, and chased them down, That was until security caught up to him and he was arrested.
Turns out he was a violent psychopath with a criminal record. Chances are; he would have killed me if he found me... I sure know how to puck 'em :-)
