I Want to Know the Story Behind Your Username
My mom used to have this username she used on literally everything, that directly translated from Norwegian, meant "Untouched rose from the north" or "Untouched Northern Rose". I used to creep over her shoulder when she was at her computer, because I didn't have much else to do.
When I first started using a computer, I used to just come up with random words or something I thought sounded cool at the time. Since I had so many, I always ended up forgetting them, though...
Eventually, I ended up using "NorthernRoseOfMay" for everything. The "NorthernRose" part as some sort of homage to my mom, and the "-(Rose)OfMay" part as a reference to 1. My birthday, which is in May, and 2. My favorite Final Fantasy 9 soundtrack at the time, called "Rose of May".
Some websites said it was too long, though, so I started using "NorthernRoses" instead.
