I Want to Know the Story Behind Your Username

*sighs* 4 years ago I met this woman at work. Calling her beautiful would be an understatement, to which sadly the world agreed, as this gorgeous redhead had been catalog model for a sports wear brand moee that a decade ago, and still looks the part, so yeah... but the surprising part, she's the second person on thia world I've ever met that I could communicate and connect with! We would have long pointless conversations, to the point we would sometimes missed work calls and other stuff. This went on for about a year, and as can be easily deducted, I was particularly happy. A few times it would feel as if things were moving forward... But then along came this guy, average looking, or at least normal looking, unlike me,an to top it off, swimming in money. Took him no effort to woo her... funnily enough, when she was with him ahe acted like, well, not the nicest person in this world, but when he or hia friends were nor around she was back to the awesome nerdy woman I knew..
But so, like that opera, she was Colombina, he was Arlecchino, and me? "You really think you're a man? Hahaha! You are a clown!" So guess I was just the pathetic clown of the story, believing more than probably ever was there...

Today, or yesterday to be precise, I received the invitation for her wedding with this same Arlecchino...and with this, to add to my patheticness,I discovered that I still held to hope...*sigh* indeed a pathetic clown I am...🤡

Ah well, enough of my pathetic stories...time to sleep as I had a really shitty day and today doesn't promise to be any better...😴

MOVE ON....based on your story, she clearly thought of you as only being one of her friends.

Back in the late 80's/early 90's I had the same situation with a guy co-worker/friend, of us becoming fast friends because we connected on so many levels of us both being into fitness/working out, having the same political beliefs and having the same type of sense of humor... thus him being my best FREIND at work......
Eh LONG STORY short, he eventually "fell in love" with me, thinking in his mind that us as best friends at work were just like Harry and Sally in that movie.... where I never thought of him in a romantic way..thus him becoming weird where he would write me these long letters of how I "led him on" (blah, blah, blah) that he would tape on my apartment's front door when I wasn't home....where back then I thought nothing of his antics.... however my REAL best friend/co-worker thought his letters to be threatening/stalkerish, thus why she kept those letters for years, with her reasoning being..."I'm holding on to his letters just in case you're found dead one day."

So yeah, you need to MOVE ON pal.

Awe you really loved her then she let you down. You are not a pathetic clown you met love that couldn’t last forever

@saintsong It's not REAL love when only ONE person LOVES the other person they're into.
Yes, he may have felt that HE was IN LOVE with her, but clearly she was not into him at all NOR in LOVE with him...therefore NOT real love, just him being infatuated with her, where in HIS mind he believes that because HE loves HER, that she is his ONE true love....which is creepy!!
Yet you post "awe you really loved her then she let you down......." SMH

Unbeknownst to YOU....you're kind words towards this NUT, are actually encouraging this NUT to be a STALKER to keep on keep on pursuing the LOVE OF HIS LIFE(in his mind)!!!!!!
