I Want to Know the Story Behind Your Username

There´s no story behind my username. I´ve just chosen this name because I like it! 😀

My original screen name included "Mama." About 15 years ago I took an almost 11-month trip around the US and a little of Canada I sent stories of ny travels to online friends and one, from Iran, suggested I change my name to Mamapolo (as in Marco Polo). I liked it.

My username is part of a longer name (no I won't reveal the full name) given to me by my best friend when I was 17. Sadly, he died a year later and I retired most of that name in honour of his passing.

However, I retained the last word, which is still used by me and others as a reference to me in real life.

I am trying to lead people out of that cursed cave. Too often I am still in it myself, not too worrisome BUT the name is catchy isn't it?
