I'm In A Relationship
I am in a relationship... though that statement on its own doesn’t mean much. Just as people differ vastly from one another, so do relationships.
I have seen all manner of relationships by now - loving relationships, hateful relationships, supportive relationships, spiteful relationships... even platonic relationships. But none of them even begin to scratch the surface of what we have here. I don’t even have the words to describe how much you mean to me - how much you have always meant to me. We have come so far in the last year and the relationship we have had changed in ways we never even thought possible. My loss of words aside, this is the happiest I have been in my entire life and it’s all because of you. You were always enough - more than enough - even if you didn’t realize it.
What I am trying to say is that I am in a relationship, the only relationship I want. The only relationship that matters to me. This extends to all relationships I have built up in my life with friends or family or colleagues or anything - none of them have ever been as significant or meaningful as what I have with you.
Our relationship is built upon love and understanding and it is something to be cherished and protected. To my mind, all that is left in this world is you and I - nothing else means anything.
