I Will Complain Even Though Complaining Does't Help

I find posts that start with " there's nothing worse than" really self centered and immature. Oh really nothing worse than you missing your best friend? I saw a documentary about some 12 year girl that got tortured for over 10 hours by other teenage girls then burned alive but hey at least she didn't miss her friend or her favourite show or her iphone didn't break....

End of useless rant.

Pain is relative

@Jackaloftheazuresand i find it hard to believe missing an episode of your favorite show is the worst pain you can imagine :) you can get it from the webs in minutes :) what about if your mom or daughter or wife died (or whomever you hold dear ) ? Would you say that's worse?
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@kayoshin Worse for me.

You mentioned missing a best friend, that can be bad.

perhaps they just don't express themselves properly. Maybe if they said, "The worst grief I've suffered so far, in my life is " ..... and they tell what is hurting them at that moment. My pain is different from yours or their or anyone else's. Different, but not worse or sadder, just different. When we are sad, or lonely, it feels like we will never feel better. @kayoshin
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin the thing is, people come her for a place to speak their minds. For good or bad, that's why we are all here....including you.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
Yea including me so i can complain about it ^_^
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin exactly, and me, so I can chat with you about it. Exchanging ideas is what makes this a social site.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
I never complained about exchanging ideas, just about how some of them are worded :)
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin I agree. Wording means a lot. When I ask for clarification, I frequently get called the grammar police, or spelling nazi. Well if you say I hate my hare, do I assume you meant hair, or should I think you have a bunny who poops all over you?

Wording is often the reason for serious misunderstandings leading to permanent breakups.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
I doubt the last part. I mean if you have a breakup over a poor choice of words it wasn't a deep relationship anyway :)
I agree with the rest. You never know with wascally wabbits.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
Oh i did think about a poor choice of words that might lead to a break up: You mean to tell the babysitter or pool boy that you'll drive them home and you tell them you'll ride them in your home. Or you want to tell your gf good morning but have a freudian sleep and say " fuck you, you bitter cunt, i gave up all my dreams for you and now you are sending me to an early grave!" ( or adjust for gender swap.).
kayoshin · 36-40, M
Freudian slip. Although i bet Freud slept too, didn't he?
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin I was actually thinking more about online friendships. You say something, using bad wording, and the person reads into it, what they think you mean. [big]BLOCKED[/big] never to be heard from again.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
I think if a friend is quick to the block button it wasn't much of a good friend anyway. Just some sheltered asshole hiding behind a button instead of facing things. I wonder how block spammers survive in the real world where you can't block out every little annoyance :)
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin I have a friend on here, who does occasionally misunderstand what I mean when I say something, and I believe you're right; she has never gotten stupid over it. She asks me to clarify, after telling me what she thinks I meant. Of course, that woman is far from stupid; probably one of the most intelligent members we have. And a real friend......as real as it can get, online.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
You're lucky for feeling close and trusting someone like that online, i am more reserved in that area. Anyway i get misunderstood a lot in part because english is not my language in part because i seem to talk strangely to some, if i would have to worry about losing a friend for every time someone misunderstands some crap i said i might as well stop going online (stop grinning that won't happen!).
Serenitree · F
@kayoshin 😊😃😅😂🤣. 😉😏

I like you. You make me think. And you make me smile.
kayoshin · 36-40, M
Shutup you, don't make me blush. Don't compliment me, i don't know how to react and it goes to my head way too fast.
