I'd Rather Have the Truth, No Matter How Hard

Sobering Thought:

As of right now, the United State has more COVID-19 cases than the next four highest countries (Spain, Italy, Germany France) combined.*

Not good new for US or for Europe (the 5 highest countries after the US are all European nations).

Just to keep things in perspective, As a percentage of our population, we are one of the lowest.

@JoePourMan You are right that all of us, including me, need to keep things in perspective.

From where I am sitting, I guess it depends on how you frame what has happened. If you look at US population vs US cases, only 1 person out of every 538 people has or has had the virus.
(615,406 cases in 2020 US population of 331 million)

But if you are from New York City, where my late grandparents and parents lived, as of this morning 1 out of every 825 people -- is already dead.
(10,367 deaths in 2020 City population of 8,550,971).

OK, now having vented this, I will now turn my attention back to living.

Thanks for the reply and good intentions and stay safe.
