Yes it is. It reminds me of growing up back in NC. My grandmother had an old trailer home and I use to spend nights with her. The rain would come down really hard, it put me to sleep every time.

Yes. I have a sliding glass door under my patio I open to listen to it. We got a lot of rain here this October. Almost broke a record I heard.
