Not trying to invalidate your condition, just observation.

Deffo a disorder because you're not..it shouldn't make a difference at all, as long as you want to do the job/show enthusiasm a decent employer will take you on.

I guess you just need to refocus for the duration of the job interview. No amount of soothing or assuring words seem to help people with BDD, which is a shame.

If ugly was a reason to not get hired I would have been chronically unemployed. Sell your skills and personality. You'll be fine
