No. These days old people are pretty hateful.
Newfound · 41-45, M
@DearAmbellina2113 that's quite a generalization
@DearAmbellina2113 So Not True.

@DearAmbellina2113 and just so you know, this person puts your age group in that category
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Newfound Boomers are pretty rude. Gen X is okay, they kind of lay low. Idc what anyone thinks of me. 🤷🏻♀️
Newfound · 41-45, M
@DearAmbellina2113 I just have an issue with somebody hating a group of people because of their age, sexual orientation, race, creed, etc
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Newfound obviously not every person in ANY category is alike. But on the whole, certain age groups share enough similarities to be able to make generalizations. It's life.

@DearAmbellina2113 but hating?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Mamapolo2016 well if the shoe fits.... 🤷🏻♀️. Anybody who works retail can tell you who the rudest age group tend to be.

@DearAmbellina2113 "The customers I encounter who are very rude tend to be of the Boomer generation," is quite different than "Boomers are pretty rude." The first points to a specific and fairly small group with whom you are interacting because there is a problem. The second points to an entire generation.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Mamapolo2016 it *is* the majority of that generation. There are few good ones who clung to the peace-and-love philosophy, but most are rude entitled brats even in their old age. Sorry but it's true.
Mamapolo2016 · F
@DearAmbellina2113 It's your perception. Maybe it's where you work. I rarely encounter rude people from any generation. Maybe it's how you work. 🤷♀️
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Mamapolo2016 it's not just me. Ask any retail worker or waiter or customer service worker. They are always so rude and hateful.
But if that hasn't been your personal experience, I can't fault you for doubting me.

@DearAmbellina2113 Have you ever taken the time to wonder why? Most are on a low income fixed budget. Most have at least one major illness. Some are without family and are simply lonely. Almost all fear their impending death.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@CereBellum they came from the wealthiest, most prosperous generation in our history, when you could work one 9-5 job and support a five-member family with a home and a car. They blew through resources and made poor financial decisions that have trickled down to affect everyone else. I don't pity them.
@DearAmbellina2113 Now I get it. Everyone on here has been “Punked.” You can’t possibly believe what you wrote. That is the epitome of clueless. Your ignorance is shining very brightly.
