I Love a Hot Bath

In this day and age, most people shower instead of a long hot bath. Do you ever soak in the bath, or just shower?

I think one of the great joys in life, is taking a long, hot soak in a bathtub. It is such a relaxing, calming ritual, that forces you to slow down and just be. I enjoy midnight bubblebaths, almost nightly, complete with candles, wine, gourmet chocolate and soft spa music. My double slipper clawfoot tub is laced with various bath salts, bathmilk, essential oils, and scented bubbles. Sometime a fizzy bath bomb is included for fun. But the best moment is that first squeeze of steamy hot water, from a natural sea sponge, down one's neck and back. Pure bliss... [image deleted]

@GlamGirl that's a beautiful bath tub. I really like it that people take the time to enjoy life's luxuries. Thanks for sharing

When I am extremely tired I want to have a deep sleep. A hot bath prepares my body for relaxation.

Nothing like a hot, relaxing bath with relaxing oils.🤗

@Hope70 the oils are a nice touch. Thanks

Showering, because it is quicker (and saves water in my case). But nothing beats a hot bath. So I treat myself every 2 weeks, and then I make a treat out of it.

@Lochlee it is a treat, thanks
