I Like My Boss

Give me a man boss over a woman any day of the week. A man boss will say "AKH, Can you do this for me? OK, when do you need it? They give simple, concise answers with no drama.

Give me a woman boss and the problems begin. Every single time. Nothing is straight forward. Always drama and micromanaging.

I work from home which I love. When I feel I am losing my social skills, I go into the office and within minutes, the women are trying to drag me into their problems. I eat lunch with them and come back to my cave. That is all I can spare of my mental health without wanting to deck someone.

I have had a male boss in my career only once in 25 years. He was quiet and fair. Women bosses tend to be either cut-throat cold like a shark or drama queens. I like neither. Most are disorganized and unprofessional and uncaring. My profession doesn't attract males. Too bad. I am happy that you work from home, akindheart.

@PoetryNEmotion hey my friend. nice to see you and TGIF. i know your profession and that it attracts women. i am lucky that i work for all men. you are right though, women are not nice. maybe it is the power that gets to their heads.
@akindheart It seems they wish to make our jobs more difficult. And many just get their positions now based upon getting a degree or two. Doesn't make them intelligent or caring or even management material. Nice to see you too, girl! Women managers tend to be bitches. Used to be they got management based on experience not book-learning. At least then they had some clue of what we do. Now it is just cramming rules and regulations down our lovely throats and saying just do it, no complaining. It is beyond words. And money is important not people. Since when do people not count whatsoever? Enough of my rant! Have a good one, hon.

@PoetryNEmotion you have one of the hardest jobs ever. underpaid and underappreciated. my friend went from a business degree to nursing. she told me stories i could not believe. she is now a PA
@akindheart I am seriously thinking of starting a new career. Decent jobs are too hard to find. No one wants to pay for my experience. You can hire 2, sometimes 3 for my pay scale. Cheap and incompetent tend to be popular now. I do miss saving lives, but I have some time still to retire. I may end up just taking a minimum wage job. It hurts my ego, but...I have to pay bills. And I value my freedom. Who told you my job isn't so dang glamorous? LOL. Take care, hon.
