@MartinTheFirst It's the census bureau's count every ten years. While the US census bureau is active all the time, they do a large scale census every ten years. While "decadal" is not the official, government-given name bestowed upon it, it IS an accurate description. Perhaps you should get off your high horse of condescension and not demean others. Does it give you some sort of satisfaction to belittle others from your keyboard?
