I Need a Damn Job

JOB APPLICATION: what if in a situation like: you're currently applying for a specific position (about to take a skill test), and then you saw their another job position (same company)that you think you're more interested into it than what you're currently applying for. Is it okay to back out from the current and then apply for the other one?

Apply for both.

It's fine to apply for both, then make a decision based upon which are offered. The only tricky bit is if you are offered one but a few days go by without hearing about the other. You should accept reasonably quickly and if you do accept, at that point you shouldn't change your mind.

Apply for both positions. Ideally you should submit one application with both positions written in. But if you do a second one later that's fine. I did that once and got one of the positions I applied for.

Do both, maybe specifying that you think you're fit for both of them but your interest in career is more on a certain side. Or that you interested in both but on one side you already know more things etc.

As people have said do both the idea is to get one job it really does not matter which if you get hired for one and not the other well be honest with them and say you would prefer the other but at this point any job will do.
Apply for both gives you a better chance of getting a job 2 chances are better than 1
