I Don't Believe Mainstream Media

Is anything reported on any of the mainstream media tv shows, internet articles, radio broadcasts actually true? They are either so far left/liberal or right/conservative that it seems silly to even consider what is reported serious without fact and source checking to the point you see and hear the proof of what they are reporting with your eyes and ears. If I had the time I would investigate every story they report on like I Work for the FBI. every story seems so ridiculous it's not even worth spending my time looking into though.
