Wouldn’t captain america in iron man’s suit be stronger than either of them are apart?

I haven’t watched all of them and I haven’t watched any in ages so probably they have an answer for this 😆 but the only reason they are supposed to be well matched is captain america’s skill and iron man’s weapons right? so combine them and ta da invincible soldier 👀

I'm not sure. I think probably not because the iron man armour has a maximum output which is not influenced by the strength of the wearer.
So while the suit would enhance Tony's strength far more than Cap's, i don't think Cap would be stronger in the amrour than Tony.

Cap's strength in the MCU is wildly variably anyway. At times he's trading blows with normal humans and then at others he's wrestling with Ultron or holding back the iron man armour with his bare hands.

I'm not sure if it counts as the MCU but one of my favourite examples of that is spider-man two when he's fighting dock ock and just throwing haymakers...against a normal human with robot arms. lol
