Did you see the live All in the Family/Jeffersons?

Very odd. Woody Harelson was not good as Archie, but Jaime Foxx was hysterical as George. Carol O'Connor and Jean Stapleton were genius!

I thought Jamie and Marisa were the best by far. I remember watch those episodes when they originally aired.
@JenKarl "Negro" is outdated, and mildly offensive the way referring to women as "broads" is.

I understand. But they should not have bleeped it. Nor should we worry about using it in a discussion. I would not use it as a label or insult. But it isn’t the n word. Colored which was used seems as offensive.

I see it the same as censoring Huckleberry Finn.@JenKarl

Fox way over acted, forgot lines. Woody and Marisa were brilliant. Guy playing meathead was week. All in all good job.

@JenKarl Woody's accent? Yikes. I liked that Fox overacted, actually. I thought it fit the spirit of the exercise. Marisa was good -- a lovely tribute to Ms. Stapleton. Meathead was okay, but also showed that Rob Reiner was excellent.

@JenKarl Foxx May have over acted but it was true to Sherman Hemsley’s portrayal of the role. Had his walk and mannerisms down!

I couldn't get into it. It was good to look back at it where we were then, and now.
I thought Harrelson was fantastic.
