Great thing about the show is that we really can't know for sure. I'm thinking that it will go to the last episode before we know for sure, possibly even then we won't know. Very possible that the Iron Throne will get destroyed in the end and all of Kings Landing will be in ruins.
@SW-User For all we know, most of the characters will be killed by the dead and it will be Bran who ends up being the king but not being called the king. That's the best thing about the books and the show, you can't really count on anyone lasting.

@gmatthewb Bran is a wild card. I wonder what is his role in this story.. Some people said he is Night King, in theory. 🤔
@SW-User No, I don't see him being the Night King at all. I think it is more that he will play a big part in defeating the Night King and ending the White Walkers and possibly restoring the Children of The Forrest and bringing lasting peace to all the lands including the far north.
@gmatthewb I've had many people for years tell me to watch it, but when I read about the sadistic sex, incestuous sex, rape, overall gore and violence I honestly wonder how anyone can get passed all that to enjoy whatever story it's trying to tell.
@maybesomeday I will admit that there is a lot of that, but most of it has to actually do with the story. Sure, they don't have to show it on the TV show, but it is in the books to enforce the feeling you have for a specific character. I've found that in the books that most of the violence and rape is very much part of the character development. So I see it that way with the TV show as well. It isn't for everyone, I'll be the first to say it isn't. But the Twilight books and movies aren't either, same with Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings and so many others. A Song of Ice and Fire is just a book series that has a lot of violence and sex (of various types) in it. I can't see why anyone would enjoy 50 Shades of Grey, but that is popular as well. Everyone is different and have their personal preferences.
