8:30 p.m. Eastern time USA: God Friended Me on channel 4. If you like unusual but good tv?

It's about an atheist guy with a pod cast about atheism who keeps getting Facebook messages from someone named God. He helps all kinds of people who are "friend suggestions" sent by God, and they all end up helping each other. BUT this guys main mission is to FIND the guy whom he believes to be masquerading as God. 馃槈

I'm like you I have watched that show several times trying to get into it has potential but you watch they will screwed it up with the writing
What's wrong with the pilot saying that God is leading him why do they have to make him an atheist

@Thereyouare That's the hook. Belief in God is not popular among socialist millennials, and that is their target audience. They are trying to show how an atheist might actually be brought to wonder if he is actually wrong and whether or not God really does exist. And you notice how they are updating God? God uses Facebook, God is a hacker on the computer, God is involved with Fibonacci numbers...etc.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales I like the show. I think they should have written in more angst when the atheist protagonist began to abandon his beliefs. He should have struggled more, or should have been more angry about it. He caved in too easily. Of course, I wanted him to begin to believe in God, but I do like a good drama. 馃槈

@river52 It does. I am glad I have Amazon Prime in addition to Xfinity. They have been buying up 6 or 7 seasons of various tv shows, so I can binge watch there for free!馃檪
