Which Wonka did you prefer?

Gene Wilder's more whimsical and charming version or Johnny Depp's more Tim Burtonesque ghoulish and awkward version?

My friend Maegan loves the former, but I prefer the latter. I do love Wilder, though. Young Frankenstein in particular and his comedic pairings with Richard Pryor.
