I Have Been Hurt Or Betrayed By My Family
This was not long before I turned 9 years old. The Christmas that had just been we had a big joint family present which was a holiday or vacation if your American to a resort in Spain. The 7 months leading up we were told and reminded of all the stuff we would be doing and shown pictures of it all. We took the 3 hour journey to the airport and cause we had a early flight we stayed at a hotel. How ever when booking the holiday they miscounted the children鈥檚 tickets and was one short. So instead of canceling the holiday and rebooking it my aunts uncles and my parents decided since it would be unfair for one of the boys to miss out it was better for me to be left behind since I was the only girl. While I slept one of them packed me into the car and ditched me at my nanas house. They didn鈥檛 wake me to explain to me why I wasnt going they left my Nan to deal with me when I realised what happened. During the 2 weeks away they FaceTimed me to explain but it was excesses.
And when I was 11 it happened again it was a afternoon flight and my passport was missing. And again Instead of canceling it my Nan was phoned and begged to have me and I was picked up from the airport and they expected me to understand it wasn鈥檛 their fault. But one the 3rd day of their holiday they found my passport in a suitcase. They tried joking about it while face timing and I remember feeling nothing but anger at them.
The betrayed my trust twice. And they still have not tried to make it up to me
