I have a genetic disease called polycystic kidney disease and it will kill me!

It may throw you a few curveballs, Polycystic Kidney disease is manageable depending on what stage you are in. There are effective medications to help manage PKD.

@Dogemilataka Talk with your nephrologist about treatment options. Alot depends on how you react and follow and medication recommendations by your nephrologist. There are new medications that slow the progression of growth of cysts and preserve kidney function.
@IBHappy i will look into it with my nephrologist, thank you sweetie

@Dogemilataka the longer you can prolong having chronic kidney disease and end stage renal disease with dialysis the better.
So, you smoke, do drugs, and have PKD?

Sorry, but, I lost someone close that I love to kidney failure... I could never get into another relationship and go that experience again... it would take me to the grave with depression too.
@wistful i ocassionally smoke tobacco, smoked to date 152 cigarettes/cigars/pipes in total (besides 1 parejo-styled cigar, a tin of 20 unfiltered cigarillos, single flavored filtered cigarillos) i mostly went round asking for free cigarettes and was occasionally given free shredded tobacco leaf pouches and a couple of cigarettes at one time. Kept count to inform doctor probably soon, which i've smoked over 2 years, from late-2017 to late-2019 (maybe to now, so 2 1/2 years), i infrequently drink alcohol, but generally don't keep count, cause if cider/perry, cocktails, i treat it as soft drinkesque, i am yet to try marijuana in some form, never known where to get it from.

I haven't been a big druggie, whilst i label myself a "druggie", only the legally suppliable, "over-the-counter" types that are popularly consumed to intoxicate.

I mean herbals, fungals and supplements are foodesque and pharmaceuticalesque, whilst pharmaceuticals are pharmaceutical. If on a spectrum, food at the lowest/highest, second lowest/third highest would be foodesque (unaltered), third lowest/second highest pharmaceuticalesque (altered) and lowest/highest (depending on which way ranked) pharmaceutical/analog of pharmaceutical (synthetic). So yeah, pretty weak, as natural is, even altered. Less is more with pharmaceutical, cause potent synthetic, more is less with weak naturals.

Unfortunately, i have pkd, learned from about 13 or 14 that i have it in both kidneys, it sucks but its my reality

Yes can keep it under control for years but will eventually need a kidney transplant
