I Have Polycystic Kidney Disease

my PKD was discovered in 2009 as a result of a blood test but I was not diagnosed with this until 2016. My PKD is a result of another syndrome which causes it in adulthood. I have been on dialysis ever since.

So you were diagnosed 12 years after it was ' discovered' how're you still alive?

@Mona86 the decrease in my kidney failure was extremely slow until two years go, it went from 72% function to 5% within those two years

5% is a low number so you'd be dead tomorrow.

i only have to go to hospital 3 times a week for 4 hours attached to tubes.

nope, not true, i have been around hospitals my entire life, i know what i'm talking about. I'm guessing you don't know anyone who has dialysis?
