I Am In Denial

Love my iPad Mini. I'm not into techy stuff, but I got it as a company gift and I became very fond of it. I've played many games and had lots of fun with it. Lately, though, when I've tried to install new apps, I've been getting messages like "The app is not compatible with this device". Seems like yesterday I got this iPad, it looks shiny as new. Yet, thinking about it, I realize I got in in December 2012, so it'll be 7 years old this year. Ancient. I keep wishing that things would last forever. My favorite clothing, my car, my iPhone (replaced my iPhone 5 this year), my good looks and good health... Wish I could defy nature, enjoy good times forever. In the back of my head I know it's not possible, but I keep ignoring reason and believing that somehow things won't decay, worn out, fail, expire and become discontinued. I'm in denial, and I rather be in denial than face a sad and terrible truth I can do nothing about.
