I Want Friends Who Are Actually Friends

Of 43 years of living, there or two, maybe three people I've ever call my friend. Others have been good people to talk to and hang out with, but never reached the " friend " level. I don't know, maybe it's me.🤔😐🙄

Do these friends know they're your friends? Asking for a friend. ;)

@Vacantfever41 I'll dream up something to say.

@Vacantfever41 I just now got it. I think.

Might you be looking for a custom fit in an off-the-rack world?
I can count on one hand people I consider true friends, I generally see it as quality being more important than quantity

Quality over quantity.

Less is more
This is my experience, too.

Some people are very friendly..face to face...just not good friends...let me pander to your every whim..friends..
Vacantfever41 · 46-50, F
Most people are not friends. They just want to know what's going on in your life and have you if they need you. I did the test of not texting anyone and I lost almost every friend I thought I had. @Ladyred]

Who knows, except friendships are like wine, they take time to develope ... And like wine, fun!
Acquaintances come and go. But true confidants are forever. And a rare breed.

I've never had a "best friend" in my entire life. All my friendships have pretty much been nothing more than temporary acquaintances, lol.

Okkkkkkk 😂@SubstantialKick

Same. Not sure if this is normal, but it’s the best I can do based on my issues with past experiences
RoxClymer · 41-45, M
I am not far behind you, 5 years younger and maybe 5 true friends
Vacantfever41 · 46-50, F
I’m barely pulling six!!! @RoxClymer
