I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

So when did the text change to "This message was deleted"? It used to say who deleted it but now it's just generic. First I thought a bunch of people suddenly blocked me but then it occurred to me it's with loose standing posts as well and even when logged out so it's not that.

Yeah, that's been throwing me off as well, plus it's weird because in the past I practically never saw people delete their own replies. Now the "This message was deleted" is popping up everywhere. Are they trying to make you think they've blocked them, or is there some kind of bug deleting responses, or have people just suddenly decided to delete their replies all the time?

But the funny thing is the notification feed still says who wrote the reply, so the change doesn't seem to even have the intended effect of hiding when you've been blocked.

In most cases I see their account on my notification feed and click their profile, and I can see their profile, so in my case they don't seem to have blocked me. Either people are really quick to delete their replies, or something else changed, I don't think I have any filters on myself. Anyway it's possible in my case some people are really self-conscious, and I just notice it more because it now looks the same as if they had blocked me after responding. It's confusing either way, and since I get told of the reply in my notifications, I'm not really sure what it accomplishes. Afaik it also looks to other users like I'm deleting responses to my questions now, when they're blocked/self-deleted.

Comments that used to say who deleted them now only show "This message was deleted". When I click on the names mentioned in comments some of them I can accesss while some I can't. Some comments show up with another account or when logged out while others don't. It looks like it's different situations all with the same message.

As for the notification feed yes that's always been the case. Comment gets deleted but stays in the feed.
