I Have a Suggestion for Similar Worlds

I wouldnt have to defend myself if SW mods actually did something about name shaming on here. Gonna be honest here, i never once had to call someone out because im more accepting but if you gonna call my name out itll come flying back at you 10x Fold. SW as a site that towards sharing personal stories and experience, shouldnt allow name shaming.

SW has created Mute and Block feature which i rarely use because i always give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe i can talk to them and show them my pov isn't so wrong and i have done that with a few people before and they had remove there rude comment.

(Which is the more mature way of handling the situation)

If a user doesn't like something, Move along its not necessary for you to name shame someone just because your POV about life is different from others. We aren't forcing you to read our experience. This site is for people to find a common ground with and find friends with similar common grounds.

Mute and Block should only be used if someone is threatening or harassing you. Name shaming should be a Mods job to remove the threat by deleting that thread. Unless SW Approves Cyber Bulling then you should say so on the front page so i can pack my things.

I've been bullied irl when i was younger and i dont wanna re-live that on SW.

If people want to send pictures of their privates and genitals, then they deserve to get called out.

There are consequences to your actions. It's not bullying them by calling them out, it's pushing the sexual predator back. It's a form of counter bullying and they do not need protection from moderators.

I'm over accepting unacceptable behavior. Wrong is wrong. Deal with it.

@randomruth whose belittling people? Im not belittling anyone. Never heard of the saying Keep Calm? Obviously you don't. Thats the thing about people no one ever tries to talk it out first. Ask nicely for them to stop, maybe they will maybe they wont. But if u have to ask a 2nd time by all means rip them a new one. By asking nicely the first time it shows that your mature and in control. But if first thing u do is snap at people then your just as immature as they are.

Example: guys irl call me cute i just thank them and move on. But for some girls guys that call them cute they get creeped out and like go fk off.

^ like what the point of being hostile? Why because you think your a superior person then they are?. Responding so hostile just makes you sound like an overall rude person.

Ok im caught up. It was an Example. You know what that is right?. Google is your best friend use it.

People have different way of expressing themselves and you being hostile towards that is why people don't get along. You sound like your more angry at yourself then the person sending dick pictures.

Have you ever thought what could be the reason for them to send dick pictures? maybe they think your hot and ready or maybe they just think you're cute and wanna show you a good time or maybe they are just perverts. Tell them your not interested and move on. You getting hostile over a dick picture just makes you look more pathetic then the person sending a dick picture. Stop being so fucking sensitive and thinking everything is wrong just cause you think it's wrong.

I get dick pic all the time, i just tell them not interested and they leave me alone. < thats how i handle the situation. so calm down take a deep breathe because jumping for the gun doesn't solve anything.

Hi I’m sorry someone is bullying you on here. We can’t see everything so it helps if you could report stuff like this and it will be taken care of as soon as we see it. We don’t tolerate bullying!! I suggest blocking the person also.

OK so this thread was awhile ago. This thread is about NAME shaming, it obvious most of the people here that left a comment don't know what name shaming is, since apparently no one knows how to use google ill define it here.

Name Shaming : name and shame. to publicly say that a person, group, or business has done something wrong

Why are there comments about people sending dick pictures and what not? go create your own thread and talk about why you dont like dick pictures. The comments are so irrelevant to this thread i feel like my IQ is dropping.

Hmmmmm i thought if you were the author of the thread you could delete whatever for whatever reason..... And honestly blocking is probably as good as you're going to get. As for the rudeness, some still come here just for that purpose. If you feel you're truly being bullied you'll have to report it for anything to be done is my understanding. But really block does work. I guess. Don't never use it myself
