Do you know anyone who's served in the military?

Me, my mother, father, brother, aunt, two uncles, and both grandfathers. Many other extended family members and friends.

Both my grandparents served in the military, one was a mechanic who tried to desert, and the other was stationed in India during the partition, where he spent the entire time running for his life while watching one bunch of Indians carve up another.

My uncle fought in WW2.I never got to know him,because some guy he had never met followed the orders of some guy he had never met,and killed him.

My grandfather fought in 1916 easter rising!
And last night we stayed in a hotel.. Our room was where Michael Collins once stayed.

My ex fiancee did. My best friends Dad. And I know several people here. And my bf brother is military.

Mom, dad, bro in law, two uncles, two grandfathers, five cousins, and about more than I can count in friends.

I know many veterans. Some you would have never guessed they were military.

Yeah. Lost one of them, too. I fly to Perth on Anzac Day every year to visit his memorial.

My daughter is in the military as most of my brothers have been.

Yes but they have all retired or doing a different career now

Every offline friend I currently hang out with and myself. I have two or three friends I haven't seen in a long time who haven't served.

So did many of my friends.
