Jerk of a snake

so, I've spent nearly an hour trying to catch this garter snake in my little pond.

Send the dogs in, mine loves to catch snakes. One time she came to the door asking to come in with a snake in her mouth. I screamed and in the confusion she dropped her snake. She got mad at me for that.
