I just don’t understand

My father no matter what size i was in (small at one point) said how i needed to look and cat more like my siblings...... my siblings weren’t golden children one was incarcerated and the other pregnant young. I got my degree and started working my ass off they got handed houses and cars.... their kids get seen all year mine get seen for a weekend. I’m the lesser sibling... they both have no desire to spend time with me or let our kids play either......... i dont want to shut them out but honesty it gets old.

Curious.... are they older than you (sounds like they are). If so, then you might be suffering from being an accidental pregnancy. I'm the oldest in our family but my sister was an 'accident' and relations between her and my mom were always strained. You might inquire (nasty place to go though). But... if they admit it.... persevere and let them know that you feel it - and... most importantly, [b]how[/b] you feel it!

Now that I've put an alarm in your mind, I'll go on to say that my sister is a fine person. Parents are 'funny' in their thinking sometimes but hey... they are only humans too!

@Rosiechick13 Not right anyway! But- I think you can see the 'blood line' difference that might be in play. Weird though - I'd have thought you would be the center of their world and that the other two older girls would have treated you as their little 'dolly'.

That would get old fast. but maybe the golden children became the ones who needed him more. Maybe thats why they were golden. He knew you would be ok.

@Rosiechick13 It is hard when a parent looks down on you continuously. For some reason we want their acceptance, even love. But unfortunately they can be jerks who have no care for what their actions do to us. As long as you know, that helps. But, I'm still sorry.
