taught me never to leave myself vulnerable or depend on one person if I'm going to depend on anyone. I became more confident and learned my worth.

@SW-User I feel ya. It's sad though. Relationships are meant to let yourself go and become vulnerable to your partner but can't help it if the partner is shit. Best wishes.
