So after 17 years my best friend

Decided to have an affair.

This is not going to make her as happy as she thinks. Cheating on a faithful partner is asking for drama. I think that’s the problem. Life was too perfect? In her mind it was too boring?

Sigh.

My mom once told me that people will never be truly satisfied, even if you're in heaven you will be complaining because you'll want a bit of hell too. I think it applies here.

@HannibalAteMeOut that is soooo true. Sigh. Her husband is an amazing human being.

@Mindful it's sad wanting to be supportive of your friends but you can't approve of all of their actions either... I hope she will be back in her right mind soon.
@HannibalAteMeOut Yeah, some people are like that, not all of us, thankfully.

@Mindful To you he is amazing. But you don't live with him. I dont like to judge anyone who's shoes I haven't lived in every day of their life.
People don't tend to cheat when things are perfect. So something must be missing. Regardless its her choice. like its yours to judge her for it

@Bushmanoz You, just judge him yourself

@Bushmanoz well she is also amazing. I’m worried for both of them.

Perfect is some fairytale fiction which doesn't exist. That's why people hopefully communicate, rather than getting banged/banging someone else
