What do you do if your GF tells you she cheated on you once two years ago?

@DDonde It's kind of complicated. 😅Basically, it's a 5-year relationship but this happened year 3.However, she just told me now.

There was also another incident I knew about (unrelated) happened about a year after the event, which we then broke up for a bit until we got back together. It's been a little over a year since we've been back together.

@DDonde I'm not really sure honestly. A big part of me hates the idea of being dramatic, or wallowing. So I was very understanding since she did seem to feel guilty.

The length of time since the event really puts me in a bizarre spot.

@Chaoshead Being you had already been together 3 years at the time and she also did it again since, I may not be so forgiving after all. I've never known of a girlfriend to cheat on me but those I've known who cheat on their boyfriends or husbands tend to do so with some regularity. Likewise I have never cheated on anyone I was in a relationship with.
