I have a theory that there are subatomic particles that enable free will and I call them infinicles. I can't see any other alternative to determinism.

@SomeMichGuy That everything is predetermined and humans have no free will, life is just a ride basically and we have no control over anything that happens even though it feels like we do.

I don't think free will is a mirage, but not because of some subatomic particles, but because of how this life is constructed.

I think God created/allows Evil so that we actually are presented with a REAL choice, not some fake choice. We can, at each moment, choose to walk & work WITH God, or AGAINST Him.

I think this gets to the heart of what really seems to drive God: that "His" desire is not to create us just to judge & damn & destroy/torture us, but to have relationship with us. This implies God's restraint, "His" choosing to NOT use "His" power(s), while hoping that we freely choose to walk with, follow, work with Him.

At the most fundamental underpinnings of the Universe, it is based upon wave phenomena...probabilistic wave phenomena. This makes the Universe a far richer, more interesting place than determinism ever could.
