The scenario he paints is very bleak. It is not exaggerated at all. We see it happening.
I like the very clear way that he has presented it. The use of imagery helps a lot. Good writers always have a gift with crafting.

@novembermoon It is very bleak, but very plausible. The new authoritarism does not come with boots and uniform, but shaped as a 'social consensus' (result of decades of brainwashing and censorship) that will turn you into a dangerous individual if you dare to question it.
