Yes, journalists, writers, artists, bloggers and others are very quick to attack (mostly white) successful men who are accused to have harrassed women or made unwanted sexual advances.
But the same people say nothing about the overwhelmingly Pakistani grooming gangs in England, which have abused, raped and beaten tens of thousands of underage English girls.
Recently, I have read an article by a woman who advised women that they should get angry, that it is time to get angry about how women are treated in the Western world. She talked about MeToo of course. She did not mention the grooming gangs. That 12 year old girls get gang raped by Pakistani men is not something to get angry about. Better not talk about it - one could be accused of racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia. Better keep quiet about it.
To hell with her and other people like her.

@novembermoon It is very bleak, but very plausible. The new authoritarism does not come with boots and uniform, but shaped as a 'social consensus' (result of decades of brainwashing and censorship) that will turn you into a dangerous individual if you dare to question it.

1984 was supposed to be a warning not an instruction manual. The sheep are going to be sorry when they get what they want.

Are you scared of losing your job for expressing how you feel about the old totalitarianism? Because you should be
