I Love Abandoned Places

Single story cottage with two story extension to the rear, though due to the slope of the land the extensions roofline does not rise above the original cottage. Been abandoned for some years now.

Wow how old is this place? Looks very old the locks look like the first generation of locks.

@updown2020 Application to demolish the house in 2008 was rejected
Application to demolish the extension and build a new one was granted but nothing happened

@TheJagsman Really so they think the house is a heritage house well okay it is but if it is run down and cost more to fix it .

@updown2020 Sometimes the question has to be asked, why has it been allowed to get into that condition.

Far too many negligent owners of buildings who find it cheaper to let it deteriorate and then demolish it on safety grounds
