I Enjoy Fasting

I don't necessarily enjoy fasting, but I do appreciate the results of it. Initially I did it to control my blood sugar and it's very effective at bring it down to normal. Since I'm eating healthier and breaking fasts with more control, I find it very effective for losing body fat while preserving muscle. I fast 1-3 days a week, lost 40 lbs of body fat in the last 5 months. 32% body fat to 25%.

Unless you're underweight, it's very healthy. Google Dr. Jason Fung, he's a conventional evidence based kidney doctor with his own blog and just came out with a book (same info on his blog).

No, I don't eat anything - I drink primarily water, sometimes drink tea or black coffee. The longest fast I've done is 5 days.

So started fasting this week; just two full days on Tues and Thursday all the other days I am fasting about 16 hours..so far so good...I haven't gone Hangry on anyone yet LOL .... will keep you posted :-)

Hey.I have been thinking about this too....but people tell me it's not good for our bodies.. Do u not eat anything at all during fasting days?
