I Hate Traitors

To all those traitors in the uk who cannot respect the rule of democracy and wish to undermine it with a second referendum ,You should all be ashamed of your selves the uk was built on democracy where the will of the many out weighed the will of the few .We had a referendum and we voted to leave .That should be respected and acted upon .If you do not wish to live outside of Europe then go and live in Europe .DO NOT try to undermine our democracy just because it doesn't suit you .

@Burnley123 No it wasn't and yes they made many mistakes , but it was all done with good intention and with good reason .You only have to look at Zimbabwe now to see we were right and had we been left alone to do it our way it would still be a thriving country with a mixed government ,but no the uk interfered and wow look what happened .Much the same as in every country they stick their nose in , one day the uk government will learn to put their own house in order before sticking the sticky beak where its not wanted .

@Rhodesianman Right but to be clear, it was not a democracy and only one race of people had any power.

You seem to support it so in certain circumstances, you do not support the will of the people.

You are also referring to the UK in the third person but your OP post refers to 'we' as being British.

Yes you are right it wasn't a democracy but for good reason .I know this may sound harsh as I said it was because we all knew what would happen with a black government and it did now their crying out for aid because they buggered up the country .If Rhodesias government had been left alone we would now have a multiracial government and it would be stable .

@Rhodesianman I doubt that. If the property owning white men had wanted too, they could have educated the rest of the population instead of fighting a war against them.

The reason why the state existed like that was so that white farmers could have a monopoly on property and also what was virtually slave labour. It wasn't out of care for the greater good.

That's where your wrong it was Ian Smith himself who brought in Bishop Muzorewa as his second in command and it was Robert Mugabe who put a price on his head and he fled into exile .

@DaySpider Just gave you that if you read .Ian Smith brought in Bishop Muzerewa as his second in command he was black .He fled into exile when Robert Mugabe put a price on his head .

@Rhodesianman Smith did make compromises because he had to under pressure from the British and his own population. That doesn't mean he believed in democracy or that his regime wasn't a racist one.

@Burnley123 I beg to differ I knew the man I also knew muzerewas son I went to school with him .You shouldn't listen to people who don't have the facts
