I Deal With Incontinence

Unfortunately I've been forced to deal with incontinence my whole life. Due to a birth defect and the resultant nerve damage I have suffered with a Neurogenic Bladder and to some extent Bowel for my whole life. Yes it is a drag, yes I got teased incessantly throughout my youth (which I am still kind of in) and yes I would love for it to be gone but I've made my peace and manage it in such a way that I can still do pretty much everything I want.

I travel, I partake in physical outdoor activities, I ride my motorcycle and go out with my friends just like any "normal" person would. I guess what I'm saying to young people in my situation or similar is that even though it may be bleak and seem like the worst thing in the world you still technically have your health and it is possible to lead a normal life if you manage it properly.

Bottom line is you should keep your head up and own your problem. If you are confident enough in yourself then others wont bat an eyelid :)

Good Luck all!
sorry to hear this i to was born with a defect in my bowls and after an operation i ended up being full time incontinent. I have had to deal with it all my life but i cant understand why others have a hard time understanding its not my fault and i cant help it. I am sure you have had the same problems with people

@DLTC66223 Thanks for the advice but I don't live in America so they don't sell them here and secondly I have my own brands and stuff I like to use. I've dealt with it since I was old enough to know what it is so I'm pretty experienced too

Thank you for sharing. I haven't had to deal with it my hole life but when I did become incontinent, I wasn't going to let it stop me from living. I have looked at having to wear diapers as just a different type of underwear that has to be changed more often.

I like you still live a normal active life and no one is the wiser that I am incontinent unless I tell them. I always try to find something good in everything and like you said, keep my head up and enjoy life.

I know it may seem like a drag but fortunately there are better products now that make it much easier to manage. I get my supplies at www.hdis.com check out the 3 following brands. May have to check a few providers. Google Abena X Plus briefs, Confidry 24/7 is the 2nd most absorbent lastly Wellness Briefs. Wellness Briefs are based on NASA's MAG Maximum Absorbance Garment. They have the most absorbent Briefs and Pullups on the market. Bottom line with the right product this little issue we both have is no big deal!

Google Wellness Briefs They are the most absorbent adult diaper on the market. That I suggest for nighttime. They also have the most absorbent yet discreet pullon on the market. I have dealt with bladder incontinence since 1998.
