I Want to Escape From Reality At Times
And I Do....
I want to escape from reality at times. This has been a relatively easy experience for me thus far. I have several fantasy worlds already prepared and waiting for times like these. I have lived a life in some of these worlds for so long that it is more real than reality to me... though I believe I'm at no risk of losing my grip on reality any time soon.
You get so accustomed to living the fantasy that you switch over subconsciously sometimes. Though I see no reason to complain there. My problem is the rare occasions in which the dream refuses to take you. You are left stuck in reality. I prevent myself from being stuck in my delusions for too long, but being stuck in reality for too long is - harrowing.
I'm on my third consecutive week stuck firmly in the reality of my life; and I'd like nothing more than to escape again for a little while. For the voice to invite me away. For the dream to take me.
