I Am Against All Forms Of Abuse

Would you take any kind of abuse from a stranger on the street? Then why would you take it from any family member! :)

That's excellent advice. :) And I agree, there is no excuse for any abuse. I realize that at times it might be hard to escape the abuse but there is always help from someone if you seek it.
