Because if it was a stranger its likely you'll never see em again. A family member you see every day. If you live with em that is. Sometimes you just don't have a choice.

The dynamics are different. There can with family very much be a sense of no escape, both technically and figuratively. The escape as i have found it is figurative, and as that way is nurtured, there is no more abuse, the figurative becomes real. I should like to add that one's innate definition of abuse dictates how one answers such questions. What my innate sense of abuse is may not be considered as such by others. For clarification. :)

True. I don't accept religion from anyone who subjects me to it.

That's excellent advice. :) And I agree, there is no excuse for any abuse. I realize that at times it might be hard to escape the abuse but there is always help from someone if you seek it.

😕 most minors stay and deal with it because they have no other choice. We/I may not be tied up or have a gun pointed at me but as I said most are unable to leave. The only choice some are left with are to run away or as mentioned deal with it. Unless you have people to stay with that understand whats going on your pretty much screwed. Sometimes the choice to go is not there.

@Grinch Are you being held at gun point or tied up? You always have a choice.

@MasterLee Is sometime trying to force religion on you. Please say how.

@MasterLee what would constitute someone subjecting you to religion. :)
