I Do Not Like To Cry But I Do Cry

Some one asked when was the last time you cried .
So as not to turn the post into one of my books ,I responded like this
(I am sorry for the long replies sometimes ,I type from the heart and say whats on my mind ,and believe it or not go back and try to cut some of it down ,
So for those of you who are patient with me ,and read my answers ,Thank You .
For your patience and your kindness .
I am not a man of few words ,but I do realize some do not care to read long replies .
I am a better face to face teacher and then painting a picture with words is helpful ,and hands on interaction ,for instance ,I can teach you how to rebuild and engine faster if you actually have one to see what I'm talking about ,as to me trying to get all the details you need verbally ,and the books If I wrote them would be massive LOL,
Or explaining history or a Bible verse ,even how to play an instrument ,
I can explain some facts and details better by speaking then just telling you to read something ,or the famous books that come out of me trying to explain it in text .

My Dad and Grandpa were killer story tellers ,and everyone loved to hear their stories .
They told them in such a way you could mentally see where they were and what they were doing ,but they were also good teachers (when I finally made enough mistakes on my own to start listening )
I am told ,with people who talk to me face to face I am good at it too ,
but I suck in text ,,I know I add to many details ,and I'm working on it
but I just wanted to thank the ones of you who have taken some time to know me and also why my mind is a runaway train .

Anyway ,to my answer to "when was the last time you cried "

about 5 min ago watching a show called "The Good Doctor "
A lady who's son had a bad heart had a vision someone could save her son and it was the least likely person anyone would ever think who came up with a plan to save him .
The main character is a student doctor who is autistic and he see's the body in ways other doctors could only dream about .
But this particular show hits home for me .I have an ex brother in law who is an autistic savant .
He doesn't talk much ,but when he does everyone listens .
He is very loud and sometimes scary ,he has the strength of 8 men ,and anything can set him off .
The wrong music ,a preacher getting to excited and pounding a pulpit ,but others crying can also trigger something in him ,and he cries too .
(Preacher's have learned to duck his shoe ,as he tosses it at them yelling "Mom I don't like this ,lets go home " )His Mom has been his life long care giver and best friend ,but even she sometimes loses control of him ,but certain people like myself or my Daughter ,he will calm right back down and go on as nothing ever upset him .
He has a vivid memory of things he did as a small boy and speaks of them often to his Mom ,and he remembers EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has been kind to him .but he also remembers who has not ,even when its been years ,certain people we have to keep him away from ,you just know for whatever reason they upset him .
I am one of the few people when he is having a fit that he will stop cold and listen to me ,,,I tell him I need my big brother to calm down and come with me .
He was suppose to die before he reached adulthood ,but he is now 60 .
He has been taken care of extremely well ,,he slips off from time to time ,sheds his clothes and writes his name on head stones in the close by cemetery with permanent marker ,they have erected a fence around the grave yard ,but if Joe wants in ,he's getting in .I always see "Legion " when I see him like that .
But if he were demon possessed ,I think we have prayed for him enough the demons would flee from being tired of hearing us pray ..a little humor to a serious matter .

But put him in a shop ,with clay and paint ,a Kiln ,and glazing compounds ,
And he can make you some of the prettiest and detailed pieces you have ever seen,
Cartoon characters ,Wizards ,animals and you would swear it was made in a mold and store bought or crafted by a great artist .

So a show that is geared to show how people like him can be so useful in society ,well, I'm crying now typing this as I think of all Brilliant Minds that have been and are being wasted .
Some have been discovered to be master musicians ,no training ,they just hear it and they can play it ,note for note ,artists who draw with such detail ,and singers who move the nation like the boy who went viral singing "Open the eye's of my heart ".
But sadly to many are stuck away in group homes and institutions ,no one willing to deal with them ,because they can be a handful
(If you have a good life ,a healthy body ,but you suffer from depression ,And I have so I do understand ,I was diagnosed with major depression and PTSD ,so I am not saying just cheer up its all in you head ,but I will say ,visit a vocational rehab facility if your depressed ,that will give you a new perspective as to how blessed you are )
I am crying at the thought of how man great doctors like the character Shaw Murphy might really exist ,but they are shut away and no one knows the treasure that is being wasted ,or the Joe's that I see as a valued member of our family
who sings Amazing Grace word for word ,and he loves children (though he is not trusted to be alone with any ,just to be safe )
I was just watching the show on the net ,and I am still pretty emotional over it .Shawn saved the little boy in the show .
I just wonder how many Shawn's are sitting in group homes ,mistreated ,because no one understands them ,and no one ever found out a genius was in their midst .
They just didn't know how to show anyone their talents ,and they are a handful because they are tired of being mistreated ,trapped in their minds and angry because no one understands them ,,,so they act out
(Before he passed away ,Joe's Dad was very abusive to Joe ,He still talks about his Dad a lot )
