I came face to face with a yellow bellied tree snake and he tried to bite me


They are not poisonous but I did not know that at the time.

13 days ago I actually went outside, having not been out since January it was an adventure.

It was a cold, dark winter's night in Falakata......

I took a train from California to New York just to see a show.

Went to a play downtown with a friend. I moved my car (parked in a bad spot). Then we went to a nearby donut shop on foot.
We parted ways. I lost my car downtown and had to call someone to drive me around to look for it lol.
Edit: AND I kept pushing the button on my key fob, especially if I saw a car that matched my cars color and model🤭

When I was about four years old, my family was getting ready to go to blockbuster to rent a movie. I stepped into the garage & saw a little beast. It was like a hairy snake with legs. It was standing upright. The length of a large flashlight. It was staring at me. We lived on a dead end street with woods for miles. I thought this thing must’ve come from there. I screamed & froze in place. It wandered past me into the house. My family annoyed with the sudden noise yelled at me asking what I was doing. Then they saw it too. It had made its way into our kitchen. My mom jumped onto a chair. My dogs stared in disbelief. Then my dad instructed my brother to put the dogs in the basement. After that the creature found my dogs bowls. It had a drink & a sniff of the kibble. It turned towards our glass back door. My sister opened it to let it back outside. It was cold & snowing & it looked back in at us through the glass. My dad got a cardboard box & stuffed a pillow inside it. Then my brother opened the door and the critter crawled into the box. We all got into the car & drove to the pet store. There was when we first were told what this unknown hairy animal was. A ferret. Not a single one of us had ever heard or seen one before. As it turned out a family had been in the same shop a day before searching for their lost friend. They were reunited that night.
