I came face to face with a yellow bellied tree snake and he tried to bite me

They are not poisonous but I did not know that at the time.

@InOtterWords these types have both poison as well as neurotoxin. So their bite is both poison as well as immobilizes.

So if you don't die from the poison, it could stop your heart.
