I Am a Wolf Traped In a Human Body

The Curse Of The Werewolf... I suppose I don't have too much to say. Just that I too feel like a wolf trapped in a human body. It took me a few years to get used to what I am, and I had help along the way. It was soon after accepting what I am that I realized the true "curse of the werewolf": humanity in general does not believe in such things as werewolves. Anything "outside the box" is uncomfortable and frightening. It's because of the false beliefs about supernatural creatures that they must live dual-lives as both their true selves and the human-self they have taken on or been born into. If it weren't for most people believing that we don't exist, and the belief that, even if we did exist, we are monstrous creatures, we would be able to live as we please. We would be able to freely express ourselves, only dealing with a small number of people who dislike us, as is the case for all groups of beings. Perhaps, one day, all supernatural creatures will be accepted. It seems like a pipe dream, but it's worth hoping for to me. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

You are correct in saying that werewolves are not believed in for the most part. But who can blame them really. Most accounts come from the 16th and 17th century where all things that were "unusual" were explained away by superstition. I for one do believe that werewolves are real. However most humans in their day to day lives do not do as much research as I have. I am wishing to stumble upon the answer to my quest but in the mean time I feel it only right to say that there are a good deal of us that do believe in werewolves and believe they are not dangerous nor something that should be feared but rather embraced.
