One life is not enough [I Write What I Feel]

It's not enough to do all the things I'd like do
Or to see all the things I'd like to see
Or to spend with the people I'd like to spend it with

It's not enough for those trapped in circumstances that they can't escape
Or those taken before their time
Or those not even given the chance to live

It's not enough for so many reasons

It's anyone's guess what lies beyond
Is there something more
Or is there nothing at all

I won't profess to know
But it's my hope that we are
Given more than one chance to live
