I hate having to be constantly reminded of Covid

I get so scared everytime I hear news about Covid - whether its good news about such as dropping numbers, or if its bad news such as numbers going up especially where I live in Brooklyn NY. Just the word "Covid" is already enough to make me frightened.

I dont mind being reminded , but what I really detest is every time you need something done or phone a company to complain about poor service or an order not arriving etc , its COVIDS fault .That excuse is getting really tiresome now and I am sure its just a good excuse at times and that it has bugger all to do with the dam virus at all.
