I Have Something To Say About Coronavirus / Covid19
My parents are elderly and their health is far from perfect. I am in a long distance relationship, and with all those travel restrictions going on I don't know when we will be able to see each other again.
Every has his or her own little story about how Covid-19 is going to mess with their lives. And there is the big story, how it is going to affect humanity and the planet. And regarding this, my feelings are quite positive.
Every day I see and hear birds in an amount I had never seen before. Even though I live in a small city, the air seems cleaner and colours brighter. I believe too that unnecessary consumerism will go down, people (at least many) will realise what really matters in life. Also political changes will be positive, less globalization, more caring about the local product and people.
What I am going to say now may sound shocking, but it is the truth: if my personal circumstances were different, I would not regret what is going on, and think it is a good and necessary event.
